Athens ideas are stronger, but Job people are winning the battle..
I'm ok with Gods conceptions and I'm not an Atheist, but nobody knows the will of God for sure, even if God had a connection with peoples world in the past, and this event was described that time, we don't really know how it could be interpreted in our time, based on our modern common sense. All the written knowledge was logical some time ago when it was written down. Thus, even smartest books and ideas are getting older. Common sense is very flexible thing. I would say that I understand common sense as an active part of people's collective conscious that we are using in everyday life.

Sometimes I wonder, how far people can go, if they put Gods will on top of the common sense. I was impressed by Americans trust in Gods will and more then that, majority of Christians would understand your text like a statement of strictly Atheistic worldview. I like the idea of Mormonism too:) At the same time I can't say that they are stupid people. It's just a fact that millions write their names on their underwear in order to go to the heaven after some ritual after their death.
